The Queen of Flow incorporates environmental and social sustainability measures to promote a more accessible, safe, inclusive and environmentally friendly cultural experience.
The event's sustainability depends not only on the organizers but also on the cooperation of attendees. Therefore, best practices will be promoted before and during the event, with helpful information on mobility, accessibility, waste management, equality, and care for the space.
Mobility and access
It is recommended to use public transport whenever possible. The organizers will provide information on access routes, pedestrian paths, and designated parking areas to facilitate an orderly arrival and minimize disruption to the surrounding area.
Accessibility and inclusion
The event will include measures to facilitate the participation of people with reduced mobility or specific needs. Information will be provided in advance regarding access, routes, and available areas, as well as basic signage in the main spaces.
The establishment of an Orange Point is also planned, conceived as an information, support and accompaniment point for those who may need it.
Equality and safe spaces
The event's communication will follow inclusive and non-sexist language criteria, promoting respect, coexistence, diversity and non-discrimination.
During the event, a Purple Point is planned, as a space for information, awareness and attention to possible situations of harassment or gender violence.
Waste, water and resources
Waste reduction, selective collection, and reuse of materials will be encouraged whenever possible. Designated waste disposal points will be available, and environmental awareness messages will be disseminated. Responsible water and resource use will also be promoted throughout the event.
Environmental care
The Queen of Flow festival takes place in public urban spaces, so it is essential to keep them clean, safe, and in good condition. The public is encouraged to respect green areas, use waste disposal points properly, and help ensure the event leaves a positive impact.
